Ensuring Safety for Staff and Patient

Our pharmacy fully supports the NHS Zero Tolerance Policy, which ensures that pharmacists and all pharmacy staff can provide care without fear of abuse or aggression.

We take pride in serving our community and are grateful that the majority of our patients are appreciative, kind, and supportive. However, there have been unfortunate instances where our staff have been subjected to racial discrimination, harassment, disrespectful behaviour, derogatory remarks, unreasonable demands, inappropriate blame, and both threats of violence and actual violence. No member of our team should have to endure such treatment or be spoken to in a manner that undermines their professionalism.

We ask that all interactions with our pharmacists and staff remain respectful. Violent or verbally abusive behaviour, as well as unreasonable demands, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If necessary, we may remove individuals from our services, and in extreme cases, contact the Police if a situation poses a threat to staff, customers, or the wider community.

Thank you for helping us create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Your support allows us to continue providing the best possible care to our community.
